Hunter Humble
Dog Trainer
PawHootz Pets Resort would like to introduce our newest team member Hunter Humble, Originally from Ruston, LA where he graduated from Louisiana Tech University and continues to honor his commitment to the United States National Guard. He left his roots to join us in Texas after he visited a few times and couldn’t wait to get back. He and his wife have resided in the DFW area for the last 3 years and love our friendly people. Hunter has a 3-year-old German Shepard named Sadie whose mother is a working dog from Germany. The joy he found in training his own dog sparked his interest in working professionally to make a difference to other pet parents. He strives to teach others how they too can work with and train their dogs and build a strong relationship of mutual trust and respect. He learned to train professionally under an apprenticeship through Night and Day K9 Training and is currently pursuing his Canine Good Citizen Evaluator Certification and Professional Dog Trainer Certification. He loves to work with intelligent and high-energy breeds such as herding dogs, German Shepard’s, and Labradors. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Hunter to our team here at PawHootz! Please help welcome him to our PAWsome family!
Salem Luethy

PawHootz Pets Resort would like to introduce our newest team member!
Salem Luethy, Dog Trainer:
Salem is a passionate dog trainer with over ten years of experience in the field. Having trained under a behavioral trainer in Colorado when younger, she found her calling in behavioral training and has owned her in-home training business for years. Salem has also consulted as the behavioral specialist at the other training centers and sat on the behavioral board for the Humane Society of North Texas. She is an AKC evaluator and pursuing her CBCC-KA.
Salem’s expertise lies in helping humans understand and communicate with their dogs, from basic obedience training to redirecting reactivity. She loves teaching others about dogs and is currently writing a book on reactivity basics to help more people understand their pets.
She moved to Texas in 2011, married her wife in 2015, and now have 3 dogs together. Gabriel, who just turned 14, is a Pitbull Husky mix, Castiel, their 10-year-old Corgi, and Omen a sweet Golden Retriever who is just over a year old and Salem’s demo-dog. Omen often accompanies Salem in classes and private lessons to assist with reactive dogs.
As the lead trainer at PawHootz, Salem plans to continue helping others and training other trainers to speak Dog. She believes in staying fresh and open-minded, keeping up with the ever-changing dog training methods and new studies that come out.

At PawHootz, continued education is used to ensure we keep up with the most recent information from dog behavior experts around the world.
